Fashion Design Intern

[업무내용]
Fashion Design Intern: 기본적으로 Photoshop, Illustrator은 다룰 줄 알아야하며, 자세한 업무디테일은 아래와 같습니다.
• Provide both creative and practical support to designers by pooling ideas and handling office work
• Discuss clients’ design needs with designers to obtain input
• Perform extensive market trend research to understand competitive opportunities
• Assist designers throughout the production development procedure
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Work with designers to help on flat CAD and hand sketching
• Design / Sample room coordination
• Follow up with vendors for fabric and trims from oversea and local
• Fabric and trim organization and record keeping
• Work closely with the sample pattern maker, cutter and sewers
• Follow up and coordinate projects to be completed by deadlines

LA에서 자동차로 30분 거리의 근교도시 버논(Vernon)에 위치한 직원 80여명 규모의 패션 회사입니다.
Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale을 전문으로 하며, 미국에서 디자인하여 미국내에서 직접 생산하기도 하고,
다른 나라에 보내 생산하여 다시 들여오기도 하는 Import/Export를 모두 하는 회사입니다.
한국에도 지사를 두고, KONUS라는 자체 브랜드를 런칭해 롯데백화점에도 입점해 있으며,
한국내 유명 연예인들 사이에서도 제법 알려져 있다고 하네요.
미국내 유명백화점인 놀스트롬(Nordstrom)을 비롯하여 코스코(Costco) 등 대형 마켓에도 납품하고 있으며,
참고로 놀스트롬(Nordstrom)의 Young Women Contemporary 라인에서는 가장 높은 판매율을 기록하고 있다고 합니다.
기본 근무시간은 8:30-5:30, 한국처럼 편리하진 않지만 대중교통으로의 출퇴근이 가능하여
실제 버스를 타고 출퇴근을 하는 직원들도 있다고 하니 참고하시면 되겠습니다.
저희가 직접 회사도 방문해 보았는데, 근무환경도 좋고 무엇보다 Non Korean 분들이 많아 영어를 사용할 기회가 많다고 하니,
